Brother UK recently won the Northern Power Women Medium business award which the IPP commended for taking steps to tackle equality and diversity, as well as for Brother’s programme of community engagement activities across the region.
Phil Jones, managing director of Brother UK, said: “We see learning and development as a key driver of our long-term competitiveness, as well as collaboration and innovation, which keep us at the forefront of developments in the technology industry and also as an employer.”
“It’s great that these initiatives have led to us being named as a leading regional employer here in the North West, and also nationally. As the first large business and the first technology business in the UK to achieve this, it shows that with the right strategy, execution and determination great things can be achieved in workplace culture, regardless of how long you’ve been in business.”
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Brother UK on their achievement of Investors in People platinum accreditation. It is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. All the team at Brother UK should be extremely proud.”
